[Plugin: WP Resume] Settings Refuse to Update/Save

    I recently installed WP Resume on my WordPress blog (WP 3.1.1). I can save Positions, Organizations, and Sections just fine, but when attempting to save the Options, they don’t save (although the plug-in says they were).

    Thinking that maybe WP Resume was conflicting with another plugin, I disabled all plugins except WP Resume but still could not save any options.

    At this point, I figured maybe it installed incorrectly, so I disabled WP Resume and deleted any reference to it in the database. After reactivating, I’m still unable to save any settings.

    Does WP Resume have any kind of debug mode I could use to try and figure out why it’s not saving the settings? I have Display Errors PHP flag enabled to display any errors, but there appears to be no errors. Any suggestions/help as to what I can do? Thanks in advance!

    Are you using the latest version (1.6.4)? There was a bug in a previous version that would not display options after save (although the options were saved).

    After saving, try clicking the options link from the resume menu and see if the settings display once the page reloads. Alternatively, you can add a second user to your site if it is a single-user site, but again, this issue should have been resolved in the latest version. Please let me know if that is not the case.

    You may have been right about something being wrong with the user account. While waiting for a response, I installed a complete clean install of the WordPress database (it was getting a little nasty over the years of use anyway). WP Resume is working fine now.

    Just for reference, I am using 1.6.4. My problem was after saving the options, I’d get the yellow box saying everything was saved, but all the input fields would still be blank, as if I hadn’t typed anything. Leaving the Options screen and coming back would still show the input fields as blank.

    I still have the original database that was causing the problem, so if you’d like me to take a gander to figure out why it’s doing this, I’m more than willing to help. Otherwise, this issue can be marked as resolved (just by other means).
