[Plugin: WP Super Cache] Compression activated but not working

Hi there,

I’ve activated Super Cache for http://www.iphonewriting.com and activated compress pages in the advanced tab.

I can see the following lines in my source code:

<!– Dynamic page generated in 0.631 seconds. –>
<!– Cached page generated by WP-Super-Cache on 2010-11-28 10:07:36 –>
<!– Compression = gzip –>

But my pages aren’t gzipped according to:

http://www.whatsmyip.org/http_compression/

and

http://ismyblogworking.com/www.iphonewriting.com

I’ve turned compression and Super Cache on and off, and did see compression for a flash of a second before it ceased to work again.

Has anyone experienced this before? Could you please let me know how to fix it?
