[Plugin: WP Super Cache] Super Cache – No Errors but No Action?

I installed super cache on a domain of mine, on an old server, and it worked great. Then upgraded to 3.0 – worked great.

Moved to an active server over development (forgot to disable caching) and super cache just went. Now, despite fully uninstalling it (manually) and checking for database references, installing it again, nothing shows up in the footer where it said it was cached.

I’ve been through the troubleshooting, all the files seem right although the contents of the /cache folder is a little odd.. a folder called blogs. that’s it.

There are no errors and nothing suggesting it shouldnt work – anyone fancy helping? Would be greatly appreciated.
