    Hi,

    thanks for your question.

    Unfortunately, I have to disappoint you. This is not possible with the plugin. The reason basically is that the search/filtering uses JavaScript to search through the table that is on the page. If there’s no table on the page, there’s nothing to search through…
    So, while moving the search bar to the page header might be possible (however it would require some programming with the DataTables library’s JS API), search through tables that are not on the page is not possible.
