Plugin: wp-tinymce.php not able to edit text in admin

    Hi,
    I have admin access to a wordpress site through my work and at the moment am unable to edit text.
    I cannot see text in the ‘visual’ or ‘text’ tabs – only if I drag my cursor over the white text box then I see the text highlight blue and in shortcode. When I click my cursor where I want to edit text, the text disappears so it is impossible to edit.
    I also cannot edit text when creating a new page as the above happens.
    I am using IE 8 and chrome 37.0.2062.120 Colleagues using IE 11 are having the same issue.
    It has been suggested the above text plugin is conflicting with other plugins on the site – does anyone have any ideas? Any replacement plugins?
