[Plugin: WP Web Scraper] scraping from a plain url

    Hi Akshay,

    I am glad to see this plugin by you. However, before i use it i want to know if I wud be able to scrape data by passing just a URL. The URL is just the website url it doesn’t have any xml/rss or any direct way to get the data from the website.

    The website I want to scrape is an online shopping website. I want to scrape the items from the website and display the same on mine.

    Your inputs would be helpful.

    Yes, WPWS is meant just for that. All you need is the URL and the CSS selector identifying the text you want to display.
