[Plugin: WP Widget Cache] Very limited performance increase

    I have tried this plugin on 3 different websites without any other caching. It sounds like a great plugin on paper, but in reality my experience was not great.

    based on <?php timer_stop(1); ?> I reloaded the sites 20x with the the plugin and took the average

    Site 1 went from 2.017 to 1.988
    Site 2 went from 1.142 to 1.140
    Site 3 went from 1.463 to 1.427

    So basically there was not real improvement. Also after deactivating the plugin in left a mess of folders and files in wp-content.

    The plugin is not great because it only supports some basic side-bar widgets. I was expecting a plugin that would cache the whole sidebar.

    How are your experiences?
