[Plugin: WP YouTube Player] Simply Does Not Work

When I first tried this plugin, all I got was a white box. Then, I tried switching to iframe and now some kind of black box appears, like it is trying to play the videos but still nothing appears but a black box with a red line at the bottom. Can you please help? The videos do exist on YouTube and are active and I followed the installation instructions and did not alter the defaults except to switch to iFrame.

I did not see any responses to previous posts in the Forum, so am not sure if this plugin is updated or issues responded to.
