• My site uses a different structure from the default wordpress.
My plugins are put into a folder called ‘content’ that’s under the root.
The actual wordpress engine is inside a different folder called ‘core’ under root.

WPML is great but should be able to tell where it resides and not just asume it’s in a default hierarchy.

I changed the ajax.php and sitepress.php files to point to the correct locations.

But you should let users be able to configure this themselves or add some code that at least tries to figure out where sitepress resides and where the wp-files are on customized sites.

    An amazing plugin nevertheless!

    Thank you very much.

  • Finally, an update.

WPML 1.5.0 can run from any directory, not just the standard wp-contents.

There are several issues in WP core itself that make this compatibility not 100%, but generally, it’s working now.
