in my wordpress site i set the homepage to shop 20 posts. If i check the “skip homepage posts” it will allways skip 10 no matter what i change. Is it only me? how can i change this?

The plugin uses the global blog option that you setup in Settings > Reading > Blog pages show at most … posts.
Make sure this is setup according to what you want.
