Almost all the time you don’t need to update anything in the templates.
But you can check if you have some outdated templates on the WooCommerce > System Status after you update. So it’s easy to fix if you have some problem.

Thanks Claudio for your reply.
Allow me please to inquire more..
What about the other files and folders?
I copy all the old version of WooCommerce files & folders to the new plugin folder & replace all new files & folders with the old one. Can this cause problems?
Thanks..
Hey msamy,
If you have new questions, please post a new topic 🙂 thank you!
If you’re updating the WooCommerce core plugin, please do that either by the WordPress Updater (the one that you can find in Dashboard > Updates) or manually following these steps:
1. Download the new version of the plugin
2. Disable the plugin you are about to update.
3. Unzip the downloaded plugin files
4. Upload files over the top of the existing plugin.
4. Re-enable plugin in your wp-admin area
Don’t just copy part of the updated plugin, because that might break your site!

hi Ines,
Thanks for your reply.
I’m sorry, I’m a newbie here. I didn’t mean to ask a new question. It is just something related to my previous question. Should I post a new one for this too?
Or I just don’t have to copy parts of updated with un-updated plugins?
Thanks
