• Hello,

I am trying to get a couple of plugins working on my site. I am placing the plugin shortcode beneath an image inside of a portfolio post. Everything looks like it works when I preview it but as soon as it is updated all I see is code within Chrome, Safari and Firefox. Ironically the plugins DO work in IE6 😛 The none working code can be seen on the first portfolio image with the title “FREE!” When I asked the author of the theme he said that the portfolio posts where using AJAX and that the plugins I am using are not compatible with AJAX:

    ———Hi Simas,

the live view utlizes AJAX to dynamically load the items on the same page with a smooth animation, without opening them on a separate page/link, like in the preview mode, meaning that your plugin needs to be made compatible with AJAX, if you want it to work in both modes. In case you absolutely need this plugin, I suggest you hire a freelancer for this task.

    Hi,

Thanks for the quick response! I tried creating the tabs on a blog post page and they work: (http://2dollarpresets.com/blog/) is it possible that the portfolio post pages handle the plugin differently than the blog posts? I find it strange that it work on one and not the other.

    Hi Simas,

regular pages and posts don’t utilize AJAX like the portfolio of the theme, so that’s why the plugin is working properly there. However, it needs to be modified a bit to work with the portfolio as well.——

Is there any plugin, code, small workaround available or do I need to have someone go in and do heavy recoding to get the plugins to work in the portfolio posts? Thanks for your help!
