I don’t understand…. WPSSO is a stand-alone plugin — you do not have to install any of the extensions, unless you need that functionality. For example, the WPSSO AM extension is for people who have mobile applications, and have a page detailing that application, and want mobile browsers to show links to the Apple Store, etc. Some people would like sharing buttons, so the WPSSO SSB and WPSSO RRSSB extensions are available for that, but most people already have a plugin for sharing buttons – or their theme already offers them.

    As the description says:

WordPress Social Sharing Optimization (WPSSO) gives you total control over all the information social website crawlers need, improving Google Search ranking, social engagement, and click-through-rates on Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and many more — independently of any social sharing buttons you may or may not already use (sharing buttons are not required).

    No extensions are required.

A better question might be, why are you installing extensions that you don’t want or need?

    js.
