Plugins on wordpress.com

How everybody doing,

I wanted to know how to I get plugins on my wordpress account. I made my wordpress account through wordpress.com. I saw from a video one of the things, I need is a domain name not provided by wordpress; which I have. The other videos just explained how to install it on your computer fresh, but not with a existing wordpress.com blog. If anyone could help, I’ll greatly appreciate it thanks!
