Plus Sign (+) Stopped Working

    The plus sign (+) has stopped working on my blog posts. It appears on the Edit post screen, but does not appear on either the Preview Changes page or the actual blog post page.

    Example:

    On my Edit screen: +/- $35 (fare + toll + tip)

    On the blog post page: /-$35 ( fare toll tip)

    I do not know when this issue first surfaced, but I now have to go through each post and make changes wherever I used the plus sign (+).

    Is there some way to fix this? I am not a coder. Please advise.

    Do you know how the functionality was tied into the plus sign to begin with; was that from a theme or plugin?

    Hello, I have not used a plug-in related to the plus sign. I use a custom theme, but it worked perfectly for years without any issues.

    I can’t pinpoint when it started, but I suspect it was with a recent update.

    Have not touched the theme in over three years. Was working fine until relatively recently.

    This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.
