Hi there, thank you for reaching out to the Paid Memberships Pro team.
Data showing that shouldn’t of a user that is not logged in could be caused by caching. Please try clearing your cache to rule out this possibility.
The checkout page you are using is overridden by a custom Master Study template. Please navigate to Memberships > Settings > Pages and scroll down to the Custom Templates section and select the option for the ‘Checkout Template’ to use the core PMPro template and let me know if the issue persists.
Kind Regards,

Dear Jarryd!
Thank you so much for offering your help.
1. Doing a “Regenerate CSS” in Elementor’s Tools has gotten rid of the username being shown. So that’s progress and solved that. (I have my cache plugin turned off currently to exclude that)
2. Switching to the PMPro Checkout template and turning on Test/Sandbox mode still shows the error. You click on “Pay” it says “Processing…” and the checkout page gets reloaded. No user was created or membership registered.
Do you have any other ideas?
Thank you for your feedback, Im so glad to hear the first point has been resolved.
You seem to have a Javascript error on the page which results in the Submit button being stuck in processing. This seems to come from some custom JS that starts with
// Find ALL
<form> tags on your page
jQuery('form').submit(function () {
The <form> tag needs to have a comment // before it to fix this.
Kind Regards,
Jarryd

Thanks again for your help.
I’ve submitted a Support request from masterStudy since this error only happens with their checkout template. 🙂
Only a pleasure, I’m so glad to hear you’ve found the cause behind this. Feel free to reach out if there’s anything else we can assist with.
Kind Regards,
Jarryd

Hi, I’m having the exact same issue here, not using any other checkout template other than the native PMPro checkout page. I am using Elementor as well.
Edit: the “regenerate CSS” feature also solved it for me.
