A server of mine was attacked and all files were “defaced”. I cannot find the email templates and I am getting errors because they are missing/defaced.

I used custom templates and had a dir of templates but for the life of me cannot find them nor can I find the original files to edit again.

Sorry you ran into this trouble. I don’t know where your files or data might have gone, but here is the information on editing email templates which might help you figure out where to look:

Or if you used the PMPro Email Templates Addon, then the templates would have been stored in the DB and are pulled from there is that plugin is active. https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/pmpro-email-templates-addon/
