POD cannot add field

    Hi,
    creating a new pod works fine, but adding new fields does nothing at all, without any error message.
    Same for “Add new group”.
    message above the add-field-button: There are no fields in this group.

    cache cleared, same effect
    plugin reset, same effect
    WP version 5.8.1 POD plugin version 2.8.3

    Is there any logging/trace?

    I restored a backup with an earlier version of POD, then updated again to V 2.8.3.
    Now all is fine
