If your show’s Apple Podcasts listing still hasn’t updated to remove the unwanted episode, you could try logging in to the Podcasts Connect dashboard and manually refreshing the listing.
I have asked the Blubrry dev team to investigate why the Podcast Mirror feed won’t update to pull in the second message. I will post another message here when I get something back from them. Historically, Cloudflare has always caused issues with podcast RSS feeds. There may be no explanation beyond “it’s Cloudflare.”

The dev team looked at it and found that there is still caching happening on th site hosting your podcast RSS feed. They found something called “Stack CDN.” You may want to look into that and see if it has a cache you can clear.

we’ve switched off cloudflare and all caching and removed the dns from Cloudflare but the issue persists- so not sure what to do next…?

Hasn’t updated yet based on the Mirror feed but it can take up to 24 hours for Apple to pick up changes from a podcast RSS feed. You can also try logging in to your Podcasts Connect dashboard and requesting a refresh of the listing.

Thru Cast Feed Validator, it says the feed contains one episodes. This matches what I see when I load the feed in a web browser.
