    Hi,

We’re using Pods for 4 custom post types (3 are only extensions), on a woo store, with a bunch of other plugins (jnc. Custom Post Type UI), built on Elementor.

For the past 24 months we have had a problem where we will occasionally need to resave permalinks after updating software or making any changes to the site. This would happen once every few days or so.

As of yesterday, after the last update, the 404 errors began to appear constantly. Within 15 seconds of resaving them, all standard Woo (not extended) categories had 404s, as did the CPT Pods manages.

We disabled rewrites on the CPT (we hadn’t set base rewrites anyway, so that wasn’t an issue). we’ve tested disabling all other plugins, and using Twenty Twenty. We’ve cleared transients. Repaired all pods (which still say that the storage type is outdated (meta)).

What else can we test to identify the cause of the conflict?

    Thanks for reading

Try using Debug Bar to check which permalinks are matching or not matching for the query.

Thank you for the quick reply.

We’ve decided to rebuild the cpts with ACF, which seems to be working fine. I wish I could spend the time debugging, because I like the support and energy in the Pods community.
