I have created custom fields as an extension to standard post types.
These field values have started clearing on save and do not update.
I’ve tried recreating them and the same problem occurs.
Anyone know what could be wrong?

NB: I have tried deactivating plugins to see if it is a plugin conflict

    Hi @stormybabes

Could it be that you have enabled the WordPress core modalbox for custom fields?
It sounds like there are extra form fields on the page that are being saved after Pods’s fields.

    Unfortunately not.
The fields seem to be working for my original posts, but not for any new posts added.
I did think it may be a conflict with Elementor, but I disables Elementor and the same error occurred…

Please deactivate all plugins and switch to a default WordPress theme and try again. I want to make sure this isn’t a conflict because it really sounds like one.

This would be such a major bug (not being able to save at all) that if this would be happening due to Pods then all of our 100k+ users would have the same issue, including myself, and our support channels would overflow 🙂

    Let me know!

I’ve tried deactivating all plugins except Elementor, using the Hello Elementor theme.
It’s just baffling me a little because it was working perfectly and then just stopped.
    Any other suggestions?

    Hi @stormybabes

Dis you try downgrading Pods as well? Maybe it’s an update from our end that caused issues.
