    hey man,

    i wanted to move my public wp-install to my localhost. unfortunately, the guide:

    http://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/move3/

    is incomplete at the step with the 3rd green balckground (using a programme called “SCR” to change paths in ur database).

    could anyone pls help ? podz ?
    i got ur msn and ur icq, but u dont seem to be online ?

    did like been told, but i get a wordpress error:

    Can’t select database

    We were able to connect to the database server (which means your username and password is okay) but not able to select the v154547 database.

    * Are you sure it exists?
    * On some systems the name of your database is prefixed with your username, so it would be like username_wordpress. Could that be the problem?

    the database is definitely there, i checked with phpmyadmin.
    whats wrong here, please ?

    Have you double-checked the spelling of the database name in wp-config.php?

    Does the user account defined in wp-config.php have permission to access the specified database?
