We are working hard on release a new add-on to integrate ecommerce features on GamiPress environment
About use points as currency at this moment there is no way to do that but you can award with points achievements or ranks for purchases with the integration:

Cant wait new add-on integration and will be happy to pay, any specific time scale? Even if its possible to integrate into like a personal shop and used as currency
