Poll logs don’t work correct?

    Hi,

    We always had set poll log method to cookies, with that also the poll logs had data of all votes.

    Today I accidentally discovered (I now need logs because of fraud) that with that setting the log is empty!

    I just changed the setting to cookie+IP and now they show up when voted.

    Short: I would like to see the option of logging with setting cookie (only) like it was before.

    Sadly I can’t do that because if the cookie method has logging, it violates GDPR. That was why it was removed.

    Hi Lester,

    thanks for your very quick response. If you hash this IP’s also, is it still violating GDPR as one is not able to link to a user?

    Hashing doesn’t not as far as I know. But there are users who are afraid and opt to use cookie instead as it doses not log. That is the reason for the switch.
