"Polls" gone from admin sidebar?

    Some time within the past week, despite touching nothing in my theme or installation, the “Polls” option has disappeared from my sidebar, and if I manually navigate to http://www.website.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wp-polls/polls-manager.php, I’m met with the following error message:

    “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”

    …Except I’m the admin. No user roles have been edited, but since I experienced a similar issue with bbpress recently, I attempted to resolve it the same way I did bbpress: by resetting roles to default via the User Role Editor plugin. However, this didn’t do anything at all. I’m quite frustrated and really want to add some more polls to my blog. Any clues what’s going on?

    Decided to try my last resort and deactivated and deleted the plugin after backing up my database as well as the wp-pollsq/wp-pollsa/wp-pollsip tables to be sure I could set everything up again.

    Reinstalled and reactivated the plugin, and it recognizes my permissions once again (with the added bonus of the database tables not being wiped even on deletion, so I didn’t have to do anything to get my old poll data back).
