Hi Chouby

Congratulations on a truly excellent plugin.

I was wondering if you have ever thought about moving Polylang development onto GitHub, to make it easier for other developers to help you work on the core Polylang plugin as it becomes more popular?

I have a small contribution I’d like to make, but there is no clear path on how to submit it to you.

There are already multiple forks of https://github.com/wp-plugins/polylang/network but no easy way to make pull request about the improvements!

Hi!

My policy to add new languages to the predefined list is that a language pack exists (meaning 100% translated) either for WordPress or Polylang. Currently nobody started to translate WordPress in sv_FI. See https://translate.ww.wp.xz.cn/ for all current locales.

However it should not limit you to use it on your website. You can perfectly add whatever locale you want in Polylang. Please read http://plugins.svn.ww.wp.xz.cn/polylang/doc/polylang-getting-started.pdf

Currently custom languages do not have a flag on admin side but you can have custom flags on frontend (See https://polylang.wordpress.com/documentation/frequently-asked-questions/the-language-switcher/).

Finally, if you want, you can test the beta version of Polylang 1.8 (not recommended for production) which allows you to choose your flag among 247 (including Finland of course 🙂 ) when creating or editing a language.
