• Hello, I’m using polylang plug-In as free version. Everthing works fine and I was really happy with this perfect and goog coded free translation soultuion for wordpress.
    BUT now I have found out that Poly-Lang connects to fonts.gstatic.com to load a font type called “roboto” which I don’t want and do not use – and worse is not legal in Germany without cookie-consent!
    Unfortunaltely this makes polylang free not being GDPR-compliant. Is there any way to disable this fonts?

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello,

    Polylang doesn’t load Google fonts. And it doesn’t need any specific font. Your issue is coming from elsewhere.

    Dear Chouby,
    thank you for your answer. I would be happy if it was like you’re writing.
    Unfortunately it looks very much that Polylang is loading roboto fonts from gstatics.com. I can replicate this behaviour by deaktivating/activating the plugin.
    I have made 3 screenshots for you:
    https://ibb.co/G03ZJjq (-> Polylang = active)
    https://ibb.co/0XzvYQK (-> Polylang = deactive / see “Sprachen” in menu top right)

    Would you please double check? Isn’t roboto used for your set-up assistant?

    Will be happy for any hints how to turn off Google-fonts-loading
