Language suffixes on taxonomy terms is normal Polylang behavior.
I’m not quite sure what you expect from Polylang? Do you want the slugs of translated terms to all be the same? That’s not possible with Polylang.
Hi Edward I think you mistunderstood
Site A slugs
- Energy (translated to طاقة)
Site B Slugs
- Energy (translated to طاقة)
After broadcast new categories are being created
Site B slugs
- Energy (translated to طاقة)
- Energy-en (translated to طاقة-en)
Hope this clears things the broadcasted articles are not going into the existing categories its creating new ones. Existing categories are the same slugs on Site A and Site B in english and different for Arabic.

That’s interesting – broadcasting an arabic post should find the equivalent arabic term and use that, instead of trying to create an english term.
I need more information. Could you:
- if enabled, disable the Broadcast queue add-on
- enable Broadcast debug mode: Admin > Broadcast > Settings tab > Debugging subtab
- Enable debug + debug to browser and / or file
- broadcast the post to one blog
- send me the debug text to read through: [email protected]
This will tell me what Broadcast is doing.
Hi Edward
The file is not being created for debugging what could be the issue?
Never mind figured it out will send you debug log by email thanks
