I will need more precision. Because on my site it works perfect 🙂

What’s wrong with the search ?
Which search form does not work ? The widget provided by WordPress ? The search for in the user toolbar on top of the screen when you are logged ? A custom search created by your theme ?
    What is your theme?
    What is your permalinks settings?

The Search always returns: “It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for….”
The search i used is provided by WordPress.
    My theme is “twentyeleven-alpha”
    Permalinks settings is “Post name”

    Thanks for your help!

I know twenty eleven (with which I made tests, including the search) but not “twentyeleven-alpha”. Where can I find it? Have you a link to your site?

sorry the page is only available on my local development environment ;(
this template is based on twentyeleven and its just a copy.
Just some new info! in the searchform the action is: “http://mypage.de/welcome/” the query is “http://mypage.de/welcome/?s=test” if i change this to “http://mypage.de/de/?s=test” it works!

That was the most useful information! You are using a static front page. And I reproduced the bug. I believe it was unfortunately introduced in 0.9.2.

The development version (0.9.3.7) should now correct it.
