• We are using wishlist addon with ecomus theme and polylang, but the problem is, all the menus are translated except for wishlist (heart), it always points to SL translation, even when DE language is set. We have both SL and DE pages created and linked correctly, so when DE language is set, wunschliste/ should open..

    thanks for any help

    Hi,

Thank you for reaching out! The Wishlist page works similarly to other WooCommerce pages (Cart, Checkout, My Account) when it comes to translation — so if the pages are set up correctly in Polylang, it should redirect to the right language URL automatically.

To help narrow down the cause, could you please run these two quick checks?

    1. Test with a different theme — temporarily switch to a default theme (like Storefront or Twenty Twenty-Four), clear your site cache, and check if the wishlist link now correctly points to the DE language URL. This will tell us whether the Ecomus theme is interfering with the language switching behavior.
    2. Check if “Polylang for WooCommerce” is installed — standard Polylang only handles basic WordPress content. To make Polylang work fully with WooCommerce pages (including the Wishlist page), the Polylang for WooCommerce add-on is required. You can find it here: https://polylang.pro/pricing/polylang-for-woocommerce/

Thanks, i think I narrowed it down, using storefront wishlist button disappears, because Ecomus Addons plugin shows it in .header-right-items element, while with the plugin disabled it is showing in standard <nav> menu where translation works, so Ecomus problem! Thank you
