• Not stated in the documentation is that the image tag is required to be enclosed by a link; and that the link must point to the actual image file (png, jpg, etc.), before the lightbox is operable on that image, in the context of a page.

With multiple images on the same page, each one should be linked, in the same way. , their URLs should all be set to the same type (e.g., the “Media File” – jpg, png, etc.). Since this can be done in multiple ways—via the HTML editor’s “link” icon; via the HTML editor’s “text” view; or via the mini image editor activated when clicking the image in the visual HTML editor; I believe each method should be illustrated.

Additionally, when the “Show Title” setting was checked, the title did not show up in the lightbox. Of course it shows up on hover over the image, before the lightbox is ever activated with a click; because that is the normal effect of title attributes on hover. But it does NOT show up in the lightbox, for style options 1-5.

I tested the free version for a friend. As a developer, I’d say the documentation, at least, should be very clear for the end user and not assume any expertise with image editing or linking the image.

    Hello
    Thank you for your feedback
Dear, this was not written in the description because it is standard way of adding image in wordpress, if you add image in a post/page in media type, wordpress automatically adds image code wrapped in <a href=””….. tag
If you had problems with it, probably you image was not added as media file, you just can write us on forum or on [email protected] and ask the questions you want

About the title, if the image from media library has a title, that title automatically comes with the image code while inserting into post/page.

But if the image doesn’t have title, we wrote the way to add it
    here in FAQ

How to see the title of the image in lightbox?
In order to add name to your image and see it in lightbox. Add attribute title=”X” in tag of image code, where X is the name, Set “show the title” from Lightbox Options

But thanks you for the notes we will take them into consideration and make improvements in documentations.
