Pop-up keeps showing up despite settings

    Hello there,
    I’ve been using the plugin for a while now, and I’m having an issue which is there since long time.

    Looks like the popup is completely ignoring the Frequency settings.

    I’ve set “Do not show more than 5 times per month” and “Do not show again for 10 days, if user closed the popup 2 times“, but every time I’m on the site frontend I see the popup keeps coming up despite I keep closing it.

    How can I find out where the problem comes from?

    Marco,

    Brave’s Campaign’s frequency settings does not apply to admins. So if you are logged in as admin, you will always see the popups. To disable this behavior. Go to the New settings menu from Brave > Settings, and enable the “Force Hide Popups for Admins” option.

    Hello!

    I thought that option was meant for not showing popups at all, for admins.
    I was actually always logged in, though, I didn’t notice if it had the same behaviour from an logged off session!

    Yes, so once you enable that option, none of your campaigns will show up for you when you are logged in as an admin. If you are creating a new campaign, you might want to disable it for the time being to check out the campaign from the frontend.
