Pop Up Visibility
-
Hi there, I set my pop up to only be visible on a specific category but it shows up everywhere.
It once worked, but now it just shows up on every page.

Hi @maxidavis,
Thank you for contacting us.
Could you please confirm for which specific category should the popup be only visible? It looks like you have AutoOptimize installed. Can you make sure all cache is clear after you set the visibility condition? Perhaps try running a test by using another category and see if the popup works under this condition.
Let us know how it goes.
Best,
Jonathan SThanks for the quick reply.
I deleted all cache, deactivated AutoOptimize and selected another category but still it shows up everywhere.Best, Max

Hi @maxidavis
I was able to replicate this issue in my lab site as well, with the same Visibility Rules as in your form. I pinged our Hustle Team to review this. Thank you for your patience while we look into this further.
Kind Regards,
KrisAll right, thank you very much. I’ll wait for an answer then.
Best, Max
Hi @maxidavis
Our developers confirmed it looks like a bug in the plugin.
We already tasked it to our developers for a fix, we can’t give an estimated time but please keep the plugin updated.
Best Regards
Patrick FreitasHi Patrick,
thanks for the update. I’m looking forward to the update.Best Max
Any Update on this?
Hi Kasia,
as I see, there is still no update?Hello @maxidavis !
Hope you’re doing well today!
Our Hustle team is still investigating this issue and working on a fix for it that should be included in a future version of the plugin. For now we still don’t have an ETA as to when it’s going to be released. You can check on our official Roadmap for any news about this and other upcoming fixes and features: https://wpmudev.com/roadmap/
Kind regards,
PawelHi @maxidavis
I spoke once again with our developers and it seems you have added those additional rules as the second conditional group. So right now you use 2 condition group which works as either or between each other. So, either show on 1 category OR show everywhere (it’s opposite for hiding) except it’s mobile AND visitor has seen more than 1 time.
Could you set up this as only 1 conditional group (not 2):
– your categories
– Desktop only
– Number of times visited has seen: Less than 1and see if this solves the issue?
Kind Regards,
Kris-

Hi @wpmudevsupport13,
thanks for getting in touch.I set it up only in 1 group and the first testing looks good. š
I will try it out but maybe it solved the issue.
Best, Max
Hello @maxidavis ,
We haven’t heard from you for several days now, so it looks like this solved the problem.
Feel free to re-open this ticket if needed.
Kind regards
