    Hey,

    Nice plugin, but I recently wanted to activate “photon” (EXCELLENT plugin) from the Jetpack plugins, but when I activate it the popular posts plugin shows the thumnbails of the posts in their original size.

    The latest posts plugin shows them small (50×50) and I noticed that the code may be slightly different.

    Can you please help with this? I just want Photon to be activated (so images are loaded from wordpress.com and save my host bandwith/loading times), but show thumbnails that are 50×50.

    Hi there,

    First of all, you can’t open up a thread and say that thumbnails don’t work with X plugin as if it was a bug. It’s not.

    The WPP plugin creates its own set of thumbnails from your posts’ contents, there’s no integration with other images / photo plugins. Having WPP magically know that you’re using X plugin and get the images from it isn’t worth the effort simply because I’d have to do that with every single image plugin out there – and that would be an endless work.

    Where did I say it was a bug? I clearly stated “This and this = doesn’t work” I’m simply stating a problem I am having when using your plugin and looking to get “support?”

    You didn’t, explicitly, but adding a title like “Popular posts + Jetpack = Thumbnails don’t work” is a bit misleading and anyone reading it would thing it’s a bug when it isn’t. That’s why I posted that before. Your “problem” isn’t something caused by the plugin. Actually, it’s not a problem, per se, but a functionality you would like to have – get the WPP to use the images from the photon plugin.

    Love the popular posts plugin 🙂
    But for some reason the number of comments don’t show up on my front page at http://www.kvajepanden.dk.
    And I can’t find a “display comments” to check in my options.
