Populate form fields with table data.

Hi,
I would like to know if it is possible to include links in the table that will open a form (I am using QuForm plugin) and pre-populate some fields with data from the table?

I have a Diary page with a table of dates available for booking boat charters.

I would like to include a new column with a link in each row that will launch an Enquiry Form where: Week No, Date, Spaces and location are pre-populated from data of chosen row.

Is this possible and if so how?

Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

I’m afraid that this is more a question for the support team of the forms plugin that you are using. They need to have a mechanism to extract information from an HTML table. Inserting a link (or some JavaScript) that then opens the forms – provided they have a JS API for that – is not really a problem.

TablePress itself can not really help here, as it does not offer a forms functionality.

Hi there!

Is it possible to populate a table using records from a contact form 7 form. In addition, the table has to be dynamic in terms of rows and columns?

Hi,

no, sorry. Something like this is not directly possible with TablePress. Table data can only be entered on the table’s “Edit” screen. There’s no integration with Forms plugins or similar.
