Popup Counter Counts HTTP and HTTPS Separately

    I’ve been racking my brains trying to work out why popups are displaying twice on my site even though I’ve set the popup to display once only per user. I’ve adjusted the plugin settings and tried different options.

    I’ve just realised why the popup shows twice instead of once: the session counter counts HTTPS and HTTP URLs/sessions separately.

    Is there a quick fix I can apply to make the popup count HTTP and HTTPS visits as being the same?

    I’ve switched from popup to toast. Toast appears to not have the http(s) bug. The Toast effect suits our needs better. I’ve marked this thread ‘resolved’.
