    For the forum I’m setting up (it is in stage yet), I like to use this plugin. But is it possible to have it as a popup – modal, so that it laid over a page so that the underlying page is still visible outside the two chat windows?? It would even be greater if then the place of that modal can be specified, e.g. left-bottom.

    Btw… I have copy pasted the CSS settings from my private site into this forum site, but the layout looks different. How can I get that equal looking?

    In addition, I looked in the sac.css file, but could not find a string to change the field, (size and position) telling, you have to be logged in.
    Can you help me out?

    Glad to help:

    It may be possible using some custom code, but is not something that is included with the plugin.

    I’m not sure, is there some specific aspect of the form that you are looking at, like the form inputs, chat box, messages, etc.

    Yes the CSS selector is .sac-reg-req, which is a <div> that includes a paragraph tag <p> that contains the login message.

    Thanks for answering, highly appreciated.

    As for the difference in layout between the two sites:
    https://boudicca.de/chat/ and https://exoten-forum.de/site/live-chat/ ..
    I especially would like the box with Name and Message (above the submit button) equal in layout. I do not know why it isn’t, despite the CSS is the same in both.

    Thanks for pointing me to the Selector. I could make it. 🙂
    Looks much better now IMHO.

    Yeah not sure. Maybe ask your theme provider should know best which changes are needed and how to implement, etc.

    Thanks. Will do that. Might be indeed, its a twenty-twenty-one theme item.

    Btw, the thing with having the chat in a modal, is solved. Click at https://boudicca.de om the right at the light-blue Live Chat button.
