    Sorry if this is posted in the wrong area, if it is let me know where I should post this request for info.

    I am trying to create a series of images to act as buttons so when I click on them they will popup a smaller page on the top of my existing page. In that smaller page I wish to add text explaining what the image was about. I can do it with a single image using UJI POPUP and it does exactly what I require but I cannot get it to work with more than a single image.

    Is there a plug-in that will do this? I didn’t expect this to be at all difficult but I can’t find what I am after.

    I think the keyword you’re looking for is a tooltip, such as the Simple Tooltips plugin (didn’t try it, I only looked at its screenshots so see whether it looked like what you were looking for).

    Not sure that is exactly what I am looking for.
    If you go to the site http://steepleclaydonpostoffice.co.uk and click on the postbox, that is what I want to do but for several different images.

    That’s a lightbox, here’s one. (But from your description, from a usability point of view I’d still go for the tooltip.)

    Tooltips looks good if you want text displayed when you hover over object.

    Lightboxes appear to be what I need as I want the user to click on an image to display the box which will stay there till the box is closed. The problem is lightboxes work great and easy if displaying images but I need to display formatted text.
