• Hi – I really like this pop up. Having tried a LOT of others, this is by far the nicest and easiest to use. BUT because I cannot set conditions it currently opens after the set 5 secs every page that is visited. That is just not the way I want to treat my visitors!! I would like the popup to open after set time (it does) and then to NOT open when the visitor goes to other pages. Then if they return to home page, happy for it to open again – but just ONCE!!

The site is exultfitness dot com. You will see how it pops up on every page.

Hope you can help. I emailed and it was suggested I try “to change PopUp Loading method? This can be found on PopUp > Settings (for example, “page footer”)” I did this and it made no difference.

    Hope you cam help

  • Hey there amarie22,

    Hope you’re well today 🙂

I’m not exactly sure what you mean by “I cannot set conditions”, can you please try adding more details on what happens when you activate condition so we can try to investigate this further.

Generally if you’re looking to display popup only once this should be possible to achieve by using “Popup shown less than” condition which can be found in Displaying Conditions (Optional) when creating or editing popups, see screenshot http://screencast.com/t/hfQqVNAZr.

Setting that number to one will display popup only once.

    Cheers,

    Hi Bojan,

Thanks for replying so fast 🙂

And sorry I did not provide the details you need.

Yes, I have tried setting number to 1, and also setting the url. It really does not matter which condition I set, as soon as ANY condition is set the popup stops presenting. The only condition it works under is “always show popup” – which is just going to bug people!!

Otherwise it looks great, so hoping we can fix this.

    Cheers

    Hey again amarie22,

This definitely doesn’t sound right, I’ve tested the plugin on my sandbox site specifically with “Popup shown less than” and “On specific URL” and I didn’t run into any issues.

Popup was displayed on that page, only once so I assuming this could be related to plugin/theme conflict. Can you please test for conflicts by using default WordPress theme like Twenty Fifteen and deactivating all other plugins as displayed in the following flowchart to know which theme/plugin is conflicting if any.

Please let me know if you find anything 🙂

    Best regards,
    Bojan
