Portfolio Slideshow: Changing CSS for image captions?

    I’ve looked everywhere and tried everything, please help!

    I’m trying to change the font style and size for the captions in the Portfolio Slideshow plug-in. I tried updating this code in both the plug-in CSS and the custom.css but nothing happens.

    .slideshow-wrapper p {
    font-family: Courier, monospace!important;
    font-size: 6px!important;
    margin: 10px 0!important
    }
