How can I reposition the panels? I want to place them in different sections of the home page, but when I go to Customize to create the panels, they default to the bottom of the page.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hey there,

    Many thanks for reaching out!

You should be seeing > Appearance > Customize > Theme Options, whereby you’re seeing the Panel sections.

To check – are you seeing the same options there?

    Many thanks!

Yes, I see the panes option. But how do I MOVE the panels. They are all clustered at the bottom of the page. Is there a way to move them to another location on the page?

Hi @chereemiller , with Lodestar, the panels will each appear below the top section like so. You can rearrange their order if you’d like.

If you want to reposition them entirely (putting them next to one another for example) you may want to consider a theme that lets you edit its templates directly. Most newer themes are Site Editor compatible.

Alright. Thank you. I just misunderstood how the panels functioned.

No problem. Like I say, this one is a precursor to modern themes that are much more positionable and configurable, so if you’d like to check those out just look for Site Editor compatible themes.
