    Hello,
    I believe this is a bug. I hope this doesn’t get lengthy but please read carefully.

    I setup a quiz with the following configuration in mind:
    1. The quiz is configured so that each question is in a page.
    2. The student first has to fill contact info (Name and email).
    3. After filling contact info and press “Next”, the first question will appear but I keep seeing “Please complete all required fields!” on the top and bottom of the page even though I haven’t skipped the question.
    4. Then if I select an answer and press “Next”, the next question will appear but again I see “”Please complete all required fields!” on top and bottom of the page. And this will keep happen on all questions of the quiz in each page. I keep seeing that message across all pages. Why is that?

    Kindly note that this only happen if all of the following conditions met:
    1. Quiz timer is set. If I disable quiz timer the problem will disappear.
    2. The first question is set as “Required”. if I made first question as not required, the problem will disappear. And this only happen with the first question. So If I set all other questions as required the problem won’t happen as long as the first question is not set as “Required”.

    Also keep in mind that I have the latest version of QSM. I also tried deleting/installing the plugin. Also, I tried this with newly created quiz not duplicated ones. All the same.

    Hi Mohammed,

    Please give me sometime so that I can replicate the same quiz on my staging website and get back to you. Then we will check whether the issue is happening on my end or not.

    Hello Kriti,
    Thank you for creating the sample quiz.

    Yes I see the same issue with the sample quiz you created! Just enter random name and email and hit next you’ll notice “Please complete all required fields!” message even though the page has just appeared and I didn’t skip any field. Again the message will repeat on all the other pages.

    As soon as I checked the option, the message hides and I was able to go to the next option and then finally submit the quiz.

    If you want to get this little bug solved, then I will have to talk to the development team regarding this issue.

    Thank you Kriti again for your reply.

    Yes I can see the bug appear within your video although I can only see the message on the first page and once you click “next” it disappear. Still I guess this shouldn’t be happening anyways. Can you report the issue to the support team?

    Btw I tried visiting the sample quiz you created once again but I couldn’t see the issue this time I guess because you disabled the timer.

    any news about this bug, as I am also experiencing it in latest release?
