    Hi,

I had someone buy a course May 6. About a month later, they accidentally bought the course again.

I refunded the second purchase to the buyer and cancelled the second order.

But in doing that, it caused the first order to become blank. The student didn’t see any courses being displayed, even after I completely deleted the second course, second purchase.

The student was using the same nickname and email to purchase both courses. The two order were associated to the same email.

Shouldn’t there be something in place, in the code or with Woo, that would have warned the student that his email is already being used? Is this step in a purchase with LP or Woo?

I’m basically running LearnPress “by itself” with WooCommerce. I use the Total theme by WPExplorer but for the LearnPress course, I’m just running the LearnPress by itself using CSS to control the look; no WPBakery or Visual Composer.

I completely deleted his first purchase and profile, and then I manually created a new course for him. So all is good. But still curious how/why deleting his second purchase affected his first purchase.

    Best,

    Frank

    Hi Frank,

The issue you’re encountering arises because each course in LearnPress is designed to be purchased only once by a user at a time. When a second order for the same course is placed, it can disrupt the user’s course progress associated with the first order.

When you canceled and deleted the second order, it likely caused a conflict with the user’s enrollment status in the first order. This is why the course appeared blank, and the student couldn’t see the course they initially purchased.

We will find a way to resolve the issue occurring with LearnPress Woo in the near future.

    Best regards,
