Possible for users to create custom notifications

    I would like to let users log in and create customized alerts so that they will be notified when new posts are published and their custom fields meet the user-defined values. For example, a user would sign up to be notified when a new post is published with a custom field called event is set to “YES”. I don’t think this is possible but wanted to ask.

    This isn’t possible at present but something similar (without the custom field element) is on the roadmap although there’s no timeframe for this yet.
