Hi @peq42
I hope you’re well today!
We didn’t have similar reports so far and we also didn’t observe such behavior on our own test setups (and we are using and testing plugin each and every day).
I’m not saying that there is no issue but it may be that it’s actually either something that is happening/gets triggered in specific environments or there’s unexpected conflict that started to happen after last update only or there’s yet another issue.
Since you mentioned it started happening with last update, would you mind temporarily downgrading SmartCrawl to previous 3.7.0 versions?
You can download it from here (drop-down list at the bottom of the page):
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/smartcrawl-seo/advanced/
Once it’s downgraded, make sure to purge all caches on site/server and watch the site for a while to see if the same issue happens. If it still happenss, it would confirm at the issue is not caused by SmartCrawl.
If it doesn’t happen with previous version, it will confirm the issue with update and we’ll investigate it further.
Kind regards,
Adam
