Possible to set this Plugin up remotely?

I’m trying to help a friend add your X feed to their WP site. I go through your Add a Feed routine, then submit their email address on the next page (which hangs). My friend receives your welcome emails saying “You’re in.” I go to my friends Dashboard and see no feed entered, just asking me to enter a X handle and go through the process over again.

So, is it possible for me to help a friend set this up remotely?
