Possible to use HTTP_referer logic?

    Hey I have 3 sites that will be linking to my wordpress blog and I was hoping to use widget logic to display an ad depending on where they came from. I understand this will have to be HTTP_referer to check it it but I’m not sure what else to do after that and if it will even work…
