For some reason, it sets the post publishing time 5 hours in the future. I just delayed it back by 5 hours. Not sure why that happens though??

Could you go to Settings > General in your dashboard, and make sure that your timezone settings are set up properly? if everything is ok there, could you go to the Jetpack menu, and disconnect then reconnect to WordPress.com?

If none of this helps, could you post your site URL here and let me know what your timezone settings are so I can have a look?

If you want your site to remain private, you can also contact us via this contact form:

    Thanks!

Timezone is set to Chicago and shows proper time. It also shows, however, the UTC time which is five hours ahead, wonder if the wrong clock is being referenced??

I already logged in and out before event contacting you all. The URL is http://www.ap-police.com.

    Thank you

Could you log in to your site via FTP, navigate to the wp-settings.php file, and go to line 36? Could you check that the time is set to “UTC” in that file?

    (@ejb5oh)

Yes, shows UTC. Need to change it to what?

You don’t need to change that value. UTC is the correct value indeed.

Do you have any other active plugins on your site? If so, could you post a list here?

    Thanks!

Could you try to deactivate this plugin, and let me know if it helps?

    (@ejb5oh)

Ok, removed the plugin. Still seems to be using UTC time or at least it requires me to set delay to -5.

    Could you try the following:

    1. Go to Posts > All Posts in your dashboard
    2. Click on one of your posts
    3. Make a change, and click Update
    4. Check the time that appears in the bottom right corner of the post editor: http://i.wpne.ws/SObX Does it display the right time?

    Thanks!

    Thread Starter ejb5oh

    (@ejb5oh)

Yes it does update and reflect current date and time.

All your last emails seem to include the following shortcode:

    [delay -6 hours]

Could you try to send one more post, but without using any delay shortcode so we can run some tests on that last email?

    Thanks!

    Done. Just sent it.

Thanks! We’ll take a look at the logs for that email, and I’ll get back to you when I have some news.

Just so you know, that post was queued up to be published but ultimately failed. It says it missed its schedule.
