post category automatically into column

    How can I automatically post a category into a specific column, e.g. category A posts should go into column 1, B into 2 etc. ?

    What code do I have to add/change and where exactly (style.css ?).

    The reason: other plugins such as WP-o-Matic should then automatically post category postings into columns…
