Post Category not Persisting, Posts Not Displaying

    Posts are not showing up just for one instance in the site using the Vantage theme.

    (other instances seems to be working, but new pages using the plugin create the same problem, categories selected in widget not persisting, and posts not showing up at all)

    Also, when selecting the category, this selection does not persist.

    The widget broke I think with the update of WordPress to 3.8.3. yesterday.

    Has it been tested with WordPress 3.8.3?

    Can an update be pushed if possible to fix this bug?
